What is dry needling and acupuncture?
Dry needling and acupuncture involve puncturing the skin with thin needles for therapeutic purposes. There are similarities and differences between the two techniques that can be discussed with your practitioner, should you be interested in using needling techniques.
Is dry needling and/or acupuncture covered by my insurance?
At Bastien Physio+, those techniques are included in the physiotherapy fee that most insurance companies do cover. If your practitioner feels that these techniques would be beneficial to work towards your goals, there is no extra fee that you have to pay.
